The long over due announcement is here! The Orlofske lab is officially moving to the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point! We are super excited to be bringing our research and teaching about the ecology and evolution of parasites to UWSP and will be providing further updates over the summer and fall as research continues and we start new scientific adventures!
Sarah was honored to present as the Banquet Speaker for this year’s AMCOP meeting in Wilmington, OH June 8-10 and to be serving as the Presiding Officer for next year’s meeting at Eastern Illinois University.

Congratulations to Olivia Choi for successfully defending her Master’s Thesis this spring. Olivia will be starting her PhD at the University of Maine this Fall.
Congratulations are also in order for lab Alumni Alma Mendoza who will be starting the Post-baccalaureate Training in Infectious Diseases Research Program at University of Georgia this summer. Also, Anthony Carmona will be starting the Masters in Science Education program at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
